Hellfire missiles, fired by an AH-64 Apache attack helicopter, impact on insurgent positions in a marsh outside of Qubah, in Diyala province, Iraq, Aug. 19. The attack was part of Operation Lightning Hammer, in which the U.S. military swept the palm groves and villages of the Diyala River Valley, searching for insurgents and weapons caches.
