Valecia Ross, Army Career and Alumni Program counselor and Ft. Polk, La., resident, listens to a question from the audience during her transition briefing at the Zone 1 Chapel March 6. Ross and two other ACAP counselors visited Kuwait to inform soldiers who are soon departing active-duty status about the opportunities available to them as they transition back to civilian life. Ross informed the Third Army soldiers about different services provided by the ACAP counselors to ensure service members are given the chance to smoothly make the move from military to civilian life.
