Idaho Governor Brad Little and Idaho National Guard Commander Maj. Gen. Michael Garshak joined the community of Blackfoot, Idaho in the unveiling and dedication of a statue at Bingham County Patriot Field to begin the Memorial Day Weekend rememberence. Patriot Field Memorial Park was built and dedicated in 2016. The nearly two-acre park with nine flag poles, walking paths and memorial wall is a tribute to the veterans of Bingham County. The park is located in Blackfoot, Idaho. Patriot Field was created to be a place of reflection, an inspiration for freedom, and a legacy for future generations.The Patriot Field Honor Project honors Idaho Veteran's who have served in the military.
