Fort Hunter Liggett Fire Department trains for Airport Firefighter Certification with 12M Army firefighters from the U.S. Army Reserve 163rd Ordnance Company out of Tustin, California. Propane gas is used in the helicopter dummy to practice firefighting techniques using the turret hose on the crash truck as well as directing hoses on foot. Pvt. Aurelio Castellanos mans the nozzle and Spc. Mark Brooks backs him up.
