North Pontotoc High School's ninth grader Mallory Burgess listens to Master Sgt. Terry Walker, operations chief of the Robotic System Joint Project for First Army, explain the workings of the Mini-EOD, a robot used in the military primarily for improvised explosive devices. The robot can search via its four cameras with the capability of seeing small details three football field lengths away at night without being seen . Walker, who served in both Iraq and Afghanistan, assisted along with other members of First Army in the demonstrations of the EOD robots.
