Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Reynaldo Cervantes, assigned to Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton (NHCP), prepares a specimen for testing inside the hospital's microbiology laboratory. NHCP is one of ten military treatment facilities overseen by Navy Medicine West (NMW). Throughout the region, NMW provides medical care to nearly 700,000 beneficiaries throughout the West Coast of the U.S., Asia, and the Pacific.
