Sailors aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz take part in the Petty Officer 1st Class Navy-wide advancement exam on the ship’s forward mess decks. Nimitz is conducting a fast cruise for returning to sea for the first time since the ship’s Docked Planned Incremental Availability. The ship arrived to Bremerton, Wash., to begin its DPIA in December 2010.
