United Kingdom Royal Air Force Squadron Leader Steven Durcan, a test pilot from the 40th Flight Test Squadron, 96th Test Wing, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, takes off with an AQM-37D Jayhawk mounted to an F-16C Fighting Falcon during Formidable Shield 19, on May 8, 2019, at RAF Lossiemouth, Scotland. The AQM is used as a target for NATO forces during the exercise. Formidable Shield is a U.S.-led exercise, conducted by Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO.
