Lance Cpl. Ronald Russell, assigned to the Marine Corps Detachment (MARDET) embarked aboard High Speed Vessel (HSV 2) Swift, paints a wall at the National School of Caracol. NMCB-23 and the Indonesian Military Engineering Contingent are working at the school as part of a subject matter expert exchange to make structural repairs and refurbish the building. NMCB-23 is supporting HSV-Southern Partnership Station 2012, a deployment of U.S naval assets in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
