From the left, Kristie Anne Kenney, U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand, Royal Thai Air Chief, Marshal Boonyarit Kerdsuk, deputy chief of the Defense Forces, and Payakapun Poekaew, deputy governor of Nakhon Ratchasima, cut a ceremonial ribbon, during the dedication ceremony of a multi-purpose building constructed at the Ban Lumngoen School, Paktong Chai, Nakhon Ratchasima, Kingdom of Thailand, Feb. 17, 2012. U.S. Army soldiers with 643rd Engineer Company partnered with service members of the Royal Thai air force, Singapore and civilians, constructing the building over the course of a month, in support of Exercise Cobra Gold 2012. The exercise improves the capability to plan and conduct combined joint operations, building relationships between partnering nations and improving interoperability across the Asia-Pacific region.
