U.S. Navy Lt. Danielle Satran, 3rd Dental Batallion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, retrieves dental tools while performing a dental check on a Thai patient at the Ban Lumngoen School, Paktong Chai, Nakhon Ratchasima, Kingdom of Thailand, Feb. 17, 2012. Nations participating in Exercise Cobra Gold 2012 held a medical civil assistance project to provide basic medical, dental, and optical care for the local Thai populace. The exercise improves the capability to plan and conduct combined joint operations, building relationships between partnering nations and improving interoperability across the Asia-Pacific region.
