Chief Petty Officer Earl Davis, center, an aviation boatswain's mate, shovels a concrete mixture into a pile with the help of fellow Sailors from amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5) and local Filipinos. More than 50 Peleliu Sailors worked hand-in-hand with local residents to build 35 houses at Honest Anislag Duraga Transition Center. Peleliu is underway in support of Pacific Partnership 2007, a four-month humanitarian assistance mission to areas in Southeast Asia and Oceania that, with the assistance of the Philippine government, includes specialized medical care and various construction and engineering projects.
