Senior Chief Petty Officer James Brooks, a builder attached to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 7, carefully places mortar on a concrete block for a house being built in support of Pacific Partnership 2007. More than 50 Sailors contributed to the project with an aim to complete 35 new houses. A detachment of Seabees from NMCB-7 is attached to amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5) to assist the Philippine government in selected construction and engineering projects.
