Senior Chief Petty Officer James Brooks, a builder from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 7, carefully places a concrete block into place for a house being built in support of Pacific Partnership 2007. More than 50 Sailors contributed to the project with an aim to complete 35 new houses. A detachment of Seabees from NMCB-7 is attached to amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5) to assist the Philippine government in selected construction and engineering projects.
