Joseph Hagan, Optometry Clinic Detachment sergeant, builds the book Lady Liberty holds for a snow version of the Statue of Liberty on Camp Phoenix in Kabul, Afghanistan, Feb. 20, 2012. Hagan hails from Monroe City, Mo., and decided to create the snow sculpture in honor of his father, who is well known for snow sculptures in Monroe City.
