U.S. Air Force Maj. Donna Sickler, 374th Medical Group group practice manager and alternate sexual assault response coordinator out of Yokota Air Base, Japan, performs a balloon jump in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Aug. 2008. With countless jumps throughout her skydiving career, Sickler would later discover how therapeutic jumping could be for her when it came to her reaching her new normal after being the victim of a sexual assault in April of 2011.
