The image shows a close-up of a looped hose or cable wrapped in yellow and black spiral tape, mounted on a black metal bracket or fitting. The component appears to be part of an industrial or aerospace mechanical system, with various white hoses, tubing, and structural panels visible in the blurred background. The yellow-and-black striping is consistent with hazard or identification marking conventions.

The ejection handle on an F/A-18 seat, when pulled, sets off an explosive cartridge that ejects the pilot from the aircraft. The purpose of the ejection seat is pilot survival and seats are inspected daily by Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (All-Weather) 225 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif.
