(April 6, 2019) Sonar Technician 1st Class Linda Beck (center) provides guidance to competitors in the 2019 Navy Great Lakes SeaPerch competition as they operate their underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV) at the USS Indianapolis Combat Training Pool at Recruit Training Command. The SeaPerch program provides students with the opportunity to learn about science; technology; engineering and mathematics (STEM) while building an underwater ROV as part of a science and engineering technology curriculum.
