(April 6, 2019) Electrician's Mate 2nd Class Thomas Torrez reviews the build of an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV) with a group of competitors in the 2019 Navy Great Lakes SeaPerch competition at Recruit Training Command. The SeaPerch program provides students with the opportunity to learn about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) while building an underwater ROV as part of a science and engineering technology curriculum.
