Spc. Qianqian Liu, a medic with Troop C, 1st Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, and is now a resident of New York City, N.Y., receives her certificate of American citizenship during a naturalization ceremony held at Kandahar Air Field, Feb. 10. Liu started the process to become an American citizen in April 2011. The process included submitting an application, background check, an interview and a test on American history and civics.
