Pfc. Satoshi Kondo (farthest back), a medic with Troop D, 1st Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, and is now a resident of Arcata, Calif., holds his hand up while saying the Oath of Allegiance to the United States in a naturalization ceremony held at Kandahar Air Field, Feb. 10. Kondo was one of 36 soldiers, Marines and airmen who took the oath.
