A large military landing ship designated L3008, named 'Mounts Bay' and registered in London, is underway on open sea. The vessel appears to be a Royal Fleet Auxiliary Bay-class landing ship auxiliary (LSA), painted in standard grey naval livery. The ship's open deck is loaded with military vehicles and equipment, and its stern ramp/door is visible on the starboard quarter.

190323-N-AP176-0262 ATLANTIC OCEAN (March 23, 2019) Royal Fleet Auxiliary landing ship dock Mounts Bay transits with embarked Sailors from Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 2 during an expeditionary mine countermeasures (MCM) task group experiment. This experiment, held aboard Mounts Bay, refines and advances the Navy EOD community's ability to command and control an MCM task group. The Navy EOD community achieves this by embarking vessels of opportunity to direct surface, air and expeditionary MCM forces, including the Navy's Expeditionary MCM (ExMCM) units.
