SAN ANTONIO – (March 20, 2019) Operations Specialist 1st Class Chiemeka Jones of Denver, assigned to Navy Recruiting Station South East, speaks with young girl about life in the Navy during the San Antonio Spurs Military Appreciation Night presented by USAA at the AT&T Center. Jones, a 2009 graduate of George Washington High School, joined America’s Navy in 2012 becoming a recruiter in 2018. Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Antonio’s area of responsibility includes more than 30 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Central and South Texas territory.
