190204-N-EW498-107 NAVAL STATION MAYPORT (Feb. 04, 2019) Fire Controlman 1st Class Bobby Ortega, a native of Prattville, Alabama, and Mineman 2nd Class Matthew King, a native of Rocky Mount, NC, attached to the Independence Class Littoral Combat Ship USS Billings (LCS-15), prepare at the armory to respond to a telephonic bomb threat, during Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection certification. The LCS is a highly maneuverable, lethal and adaptable ship designed to support focused mine countermeasures, anti-submarine warfare, and surface warfare missions.
