U.S. Marine Col. James McDonough, regimental commander, 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment (1/10), 2nd Marine Division, briefs the regimental staff to be taking part in a simulated battalion attack prior to force on force operations as part of exercise Rolling Thunder 1-19 at Ft. Bragg, N.C., Mar. 15, 2019. The brief took place in order for 1/10’s leadership to coordinate attack and counter-attack strategies while simultaneously assuming the possibility of simulated enemy artillery contact.
