JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Feb. 19, 2019) – Lt. Brin Freund, a neurologist at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, performs an eye movement examination on a sailor. Freund, a native of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, says “The best part of my job is the development of therapeutic relationships with my patients and it’s an honor to have the opportunity to provide care for them.” The Medical Corps is comprised of the Navy’s physicians, who pave new frontiers in patient care delivery, medical education, and biomedical research.
