(Mar. 08, 2019) – Coastguardsman Gunner’s Mate 2nd Class Vincent Tang, from San Francisco, calls out shot placement for Coastguardsman Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Michael Panos, from Fremont, California, during shooting qualifications for Port Security Unit 312 (PSU-312) on Naval Base Ventura County during Pacific Blitz 2019 (PacBlitz19). Tactical crewmen and coxswains assigned to port security must maintain weapons proficiency to provide pier side and port defense and tactical support to moored naval vessels.
