(Mar. 08, 2019) – Coastguardsman Gunner’s Mate 1st Class Tobias Perio from Honolulu, assigned to Port Security Unit 312 (PSU-312), calls out shot placement during shooting qualifications on Naval Base Ventura County during Pacific Blitz 2019 (PacBlitz19). Tactical crewmen and coxswains assigned to port security must maintain weapons proficiency to provide pier side and port defense and tactical support to moored naval vessels.
