NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (March 6, 2019) Capt. John J. Cummings, USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) commanding officer, listens to an advanced weapons elevators (AWE) plan of the day-strike fighter brief. The strike fighter brief process was briefed as an innovative approach to process improvement for Ford's advanced weapons elevators.
