    II Marine Expeditionary Force   

    Marshall, Minn., native Lance Cpl. Ryan J. Merritt, the turret gunner for Truck Four of the mobile section with Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, watches his sector while providing security overwatch. Merritt, 19, and his fellow Marines in the company’s mobile section have worked day and night during the opening weeks of Operation Double Check, which started Jan. 3.
