190301-N-SS350-0073 ATLANTIC OCEAN (March 1, 2019) Senior Chief Master-at-Arms Matthew DuPonte, from Littleton, Colo., meets his daughter for the first time during a homecoming celebration for the San Antonio-class Amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23), March 1. USS Anchorage (LPD 23), of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group, returned to its homeport of San Diego following a successful eight-month deployment to the U.S. 5th, 6th and 7th Fleet areas of operation.
