    190301-N-SS350-0008 ATLANTIC OCEAN (March 1, 2019) The San Antonio-class Amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23) transits between the Zumwalt-class guided missile destroyers USS Zumwalt (DDG 1000), left, and USS Michael Monsoor (DDG 1001) to take its place in port at Naval Base San Diego, March 1. USS Anchorage (LPD 23), of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group, returned to its homeport of San Diego following a successful eight-month deployment to the U.S. 5th, 6th and 7th Fleet areas of operation.
