Military personnel in camouflage uniforms and hard hats are working on a concrete pouring operation at a construction site. Two soldiers in the foreground are actively spreading and leveling wet concrete using long-handled rakes, with one appearing to have slipped or lost balance on the wet surface. Multiple other military and civilian workers are visible in the background operating mixing equipment.

Staff Sgt. Peter Schuldt throws 1st Lt. Daniel Baba, project lead, into wet concrete at the Tak Province, Kingdom of Thailand, Jan. 30, 2019. Throwing the project lead into the wet concrete is a tradition of the engineers at Cobra Gold. Building the school was part of Exercise Cobra Gold is an 11-day exercise that brings the U.S. and a number of other countries to Thailand in order to conduct joint training and complete projects.
