In this image released by the Texas Military Forces, soldiers and airmen with Joint Task Force 71 met with members of several state emergency management agencies and the United States Marine Corps Chemical Biological Incident Response Force, Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. The individual organizations came together for a two-day event that began with detailed capabilities briefings and culminated in a tabletop exercise involving a Category-4 tornado touchdown inside San Antonio. The exercise was designed to offer the agencies an opportunity to evaluate current resources, plans and capabilities needed to respond to catastrophic events and ensure a fully integrated and coordinated response if it ever becomes necessary. JTF-71 attendees included several members of the 6th Civil Support Team, 6th Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Enhanced Force Package as they are the a part of the FEMA Region VI Homeland Response Force and will be working directly in conjunction with CBIRF.
