OLSZYNA, Poland (Feb. 5, 2019) - Members of the 1st Engineer Battalion, 1st Infantry Division out of Fort Riley, Kansas, communicate with the Polish military police during a vehicle inspection at checkpoint Oyszyna. The unit is convoying across eastern Europe as they prepare for their nine month rotation in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. OAR builds readiness, increases interoperability and enhances the bonds between ally and partner militaries with multinational training events in Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Romania.
