OLSZYNA, Poland (Feb. 5, 2019) - Polish Armed Forces 1st Lt. Krzysztof Bajuk, with the Military Movement Command-Wroclaw and U.S. Army Capt. Brandon W. Grifford, commander of the 49th Transportation Battalion based out of Ft. Hood, Texas, review the march credits documents from the 1st Engineer Battalion, 1st Infantry Division during a vehicle inspection at checkpoint Olszyna. The documents allow one or more vehicles to move over a controlled route in a fixed time. The unit is convoying across eastern Europe as they prepare for their nine month rotation in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. OAR builds readiness, increases interoperability and enhances the bonds between ally and partner militaries with multinational training events in Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Romania.
