Pfc. Mitchell Lopez, a bulk fuel specialist with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, rides aboard a landing craft during a simulated Humanitarian Assistance-Disaster Relief mission, Philippine Sea, Feb. 1, 2019. Lopez, a native of Maui, Hawaii, graduated from Maui High School in May 2018 before enlisting the following month. CLB-31 provides security, logistics, transportation, and HADR support as the Logistics Combat Element for the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit.
