An Australian soldier from Task Group Taji 8 inspects and clears an Iraqi Army (IA) soldier’s weapon before a School of Infantry NCO 2 (SINCO 2) led culminating activity at Taji Military Complex, Iraq, Jan. 20, 2019. The event was the final test for four IA battalions that have received 10 weeks’ training from the SINCO2 with oversight from Australian Army instructor assessors from Task Group Taji 8. The Coalition offers training programs include courses in areas as diverse as operational planning, counter-terrorism, logistics and sustainment, equipment maintenance, counter-IED techniques and law enforcement.
