Winners of the 7th Engineer Dive Team Commander’s Challenge,“3rd Squad,” hold their first place trophy at the awards ceremony. Also pictured on the left is 1/34 Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team commander, Lt. Col. Gary Mundfrom. 3rd Squad, lead by Staff Sgt. Jeb Dunham, finished the challenge with a time of 3:04:05. The challenge took place at Kuwait Naval Base on the coast of the Persian Gulf Dec. 23, 2011.
