A wave crashes off the hull of the commercial fishing vessel Lisa Marie as it is towed by a Coast Guard crew to a pier in Astoria, Ore., Jan 3, 2019.
The tow started with a crew aboard the Triumph II, a 52-foot Motor Life Boat from Coast Guard Station Cape Disappointment, and once they passed the Columbia River bar, a 47-foot Motor Life Boat crew, also from the station, took over the tow.
