181222-N-GP548-2113 MIAMI (December 22, 2018) A Navy Recruiter from Navy Recruiting District Miami uses virtual reality goggles to show Navy videos while recruiting at the American Airlines Arena before a Miami Heat basket ball game. A total of 55 Recruiters from Navy Recruiting Command, Navy Recruiting Leadership Academy, Navy Recruiting District Miami and selected Recruiters of the Year, along with the Navy’s virtual reality asset, the Nimitz, compile a “Swarming Team,” which is a new recruiting strategy in support of the national policy to build a 355-ship Navy.
