    II Marine Expeditionary Force   

    Corporal Theodore J. Crisswell, a field radio operator with Headquarters Battery, 2nd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, was raised by his grandmother from the age of 9 and developed a witty sense of humor as he grew up. The Waukon, Iowa, native is a fire team leader with the battery and uses his energetic personality and wit to keep morale high among his fellow Marines.
