Academia instructors of the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service’s second school prepare to safely dispose of explosive ordnance devices during training at the Besmaya Range Complex, Iraq, Dec. 16, 2018. This exercise was the last assessment needed for students to graduate the CTS Academia course as operators. The Iraqi CTS Academia consists of three schools: Initial Entry Training, Special Operations Qualification, and Special Operations Advanced Training. Continued assistance to partner forces is essential to setting conditions for regional stability. The Coalition and its partners remain united and resolved to prevent the resurgence of ISIS and its violent extremist ideology. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Sarah K. Anwar)
