Staff Sgt. Zachary Costa, left, 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron (ECES) pavements and construction equipment craftsman, and Senior Airman Mitchell Halbleib, 8th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (EAMS) crew chief, work together during the removal and replacement of a pitch trim actuator for a C-17 Globemaster III Dec. 16, 2018, at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. This is the first time a maintenance procedure like this has been done in U.S. Air Forces Central Command’s area of responsibility.
