Lt. George Jackson, Virginia Tech police officer and Army veteran, posts watch over the casket of retired Staff Sgt. Deriek Crouse before his funeral on Dec. 12 at the Cassell Coliseum on the Virginia Tech campus. Crouse’s funeral was attended by soldiers from his unit and over 2,000 law enforcement personnel.
