Sgt. Jonathan Walker, a Cameron, North Carolina native and combat engineer with the 515th Sapper Company, 5th Engineer Battalion, 36th Engineer Brigade drives a Light Medium Tactical Vehicle around the DeConcini Port of Entry, Dec. 19 at Nogales, Arizona. His unit was responsible for ensuring the concertina wire on the wall was intact and fortifications at the point of entry were hardened. Soldiers will provide a range of support including planning assistance, engineering support, equipment and resources to assist the Department of Homeland Security along the southwest border.(U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
