HARTWELL, Ga. – Monday, Dec. 17 Hartwell Power Plant Senior Mechanic Tim Morrill, a Starr, S.C. native, receives a coin of excellence for outstanding performance. South Atlantic Division Command Sgt. Maj. Douglas Padgett presented the coin in recognition of Morrill exceeding expectations during a recent surge in work load at the power plant. Morrill and his team have exchanged outdated equipment and procedures with cutting edge replacements that will create a safer, cleaner and more efficient plant for the future.
