HARTWELL, Ga. – Monday, Dec. 17 Hartwell Power Plant maintenance team received high praise for outstanding performance. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, South Atlantic Division Command Sgt. Maj. Douglas Padgett conducted a site visit in recognition of the Hartwell team going above and beyond during a recent surge in workload, exceeding expectations by increasing electrical safety measures, updating mechanical and security systems, and streamlining processes, leading to a safer, cleaner and more efficient power plant.
