    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Dec. 18, 2018) – Lt. Cmdr. Candy Anderson, Naval Hospital Jacksonville’s Multi-Service Unit department head, and Elizabeth Thomson Imsande, a former World War II Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service (WAVES), discuss the history of the Navy’s hospital corps uniforms. Imsande trained and worked at NH Jacksonville during World War II as a pharmacist’s mate. During Imsande’s visit, she toured hospital clinics and units.
