Soldiers honor their country on a daily basis just by serving in the military, but an extra sense of pride was shown as troops transitioned from Iraq and began closing another chapter in American history. With U.S. forces leaving Iraq, the two nations will now focus on building and strengthening a mutually beneficial partnership. Third Army is shaping the future by meeting the security agreement with Iraq to have all personnel and equipment out of the country before the Dec. 31 deadline.
